David Spindler is a results-driven leader with expertise in managing complex
international business partnerships and relationships. He has
demonstrated abilities in staff supervision, leading cross-functional work
teams, negotiation, business planning, financial modeling, and P&L management.

Prior to that position, Spindler was Director, Strategy for Discovery Networks International, where
he led the divisional strategy and operations for the Canadian market, including the development
and implementation of new revenue initiatives. He also managed Discovery’s equity interest in
Canadian joint ventures and oversaw all shareholder matters; advised senior management on all
board resolutions and issues; and ensured favorable financial positions in joint ventures through
disciplined analysis of monthly financial statements and annual business plans.
Spindler was also responsible for the division’s HD strategy, including development of the
centralized business plan, which resulted in the launch of 13 channels across the globe.
Before joining Discovery, Spindler worked at Roland House, Inc., where he conducted an
assessment of the television post-production facility and supervised a staff of assistant editors.
